George Dixon passed away peacefully Friday, June 22, 1990at his home after a long courageous battle. We lost a wonderful brother and companion.

He was born August 16, 1946 to William D. and Ruth Mendenhall Dixon in Vernal, Utah. He attended High School in Mesa, Arizona and Payson, Utah. He studied at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He has resided in Washington, D.C., Provo, Utah and Salt Lake City, Utah. He received numerous special awards in prosthetic make-up in Hollywood and for the U. S. Government and a number of other achievements. George had tremendous abilities there were few things he could not do. There was not a task he wouldn't undertake. In his short lifetime he achieved what many would take three lifetimes to accomplish. He took a great deal of pride sacrificing to build a comfortable future. He traveled extensively in his occupation and enjoyed the peaceful serenity of his home surroundings. He loved his two darling dogs Nikki and Zipper. They will always be waiting at the gate. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, snow skiing, restoring cars, yard work, the bees, and the peacefulness of home.

Survived by his sister, Donna, Mrs. Fred Crane, Midvale, sister-in-law, Carolyn, Mrs. Marden G. Dixon, Orem, five nieces and five nephews. His companion of many years, Steve. Preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Mendenhall Christiansen, his father, William Douglass Dixon and his brother Marden Guy Dixon.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2:00 p.m., June 26,1990 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, where friends may call on Tuesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery. T 6/24 N3 6/25
