JIGSAW PUZZLE POINTS TO GUILT OF MARCOS, PROSECUTOR SAYS

The lead prosecutor in the racketeering trial of Imelda Marcos and Saudi Arabian businessman Adnan Khashoggi told the jury Monday that, when the jigsaw puzzle pieces of evidence in the case are fitted together, "they show the guilt."

Charles LaBella, an assistant U.S. attorney, was armed as he began his closing argument to the jury with thick black ring binders containing copies of key evidence and flow charts presented during the three-month trial."When the pieces are put together, they show the guilt of Imelda Marcos and Adnan Khashoggi," he said.
