TRAPPERS RALLY TO DOWN BRAVES

The Salt Lake Trappers came on strong in the last two innings to defeat the Idaho Falls Braves, 8-5 in Idaho Falls.

The Trappers scored five runs in the eight innning and added two more in the ninth.Trappers' Rob Bargas went 3-for-5 from the plate with one home run and three RBIs.

Trapper pitcher Willie Ambos threw for 7 1/3 innings, striking out three and walking three. He gave up three runs, all of them earned. Ken Whitworth picked up the save, pitching through 1 2/3 innings, giving up one earned run - a home run by Stu McMillan.

The Trappers are now 6-4. The Braves fell to 4-6.
