Radio talk show host Mills Crenshaw, who gained popularity in 1988 for being on the forefront of Utah's debate over three initiatives to limit taxes, will no longer work for KTKK (K-Talk) radio (AM-630), according to a memo circulated at the radio station.
The memo said the station's management, under Starley Bush, owner and general manager, has "decided to go in a modified direction and Mr. Crenshaw did not fit in the new programming.""I was told after I got off the air Friday that they were going to let me go, and no other comments were made," Crenshaw said. "I've heard rumors that pressures were being applied to the station, but I have no substantiation to that. I have nothing but good things to say about the station."
