Utah Valley Community College unveiled its first piece of major sculpture when "Three Dimensional Infinity" was dedicated Friday. The sculpture was donated by Signetics Co., and is located north of the new Science Building. The sculpture is a three-dimensional piece by former UVCC student Rod Morgan. Morgan was commissioned by Professor Calvin Q. Lait to re-create a scientific notation symbolizing spherical expansion of a point to infinity. After seeing Morgan's original model, Signetics commissioned Morgan to create a full-size model. The sculpture is five feet tall and is nine feet wide.
