The Supreme Court published testimony suggesting that a senior officer may have participated in a cover-up of the killing of six Jesuit priests by members of the military.

The director of the archives at the military academy from which the mission to kill the priests was launched testified that Lt. Col. Carlos Camilo Hernandez gave an order to burn log books from the archives, the Supreme Court said Monday."It is not routine to incinerate these (log) books," the court bulletin said, citing testimony of Capt. Juan Rene Arana Aguilar, who "has worked at the military school for a long time."
