Exercise can do more for you than trim your thighs and strengthen your heart. A study from Baruch College in New York City indicates workouts build creative muscle as well. John Gondola, associate professor of physical education, discovered in a study of 120 women that those who'd just finished 20 minutes of aerobic dance were more original and innovative in problem solving than their sedentary sisters. Gondola's theory: the release of endorphins and adrenaline during exercise helps people tap into the creative, intuitive right side of the brain.
