Reed E. Pew, executive vice president and chief operating officer of AutoSimulations Inc., Bountiful, has been elected president of the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants for the 1990-91 year.
Mark Stevens, a partner in the national firm of Deloitte & Touche, has been elected president-elect, and Duane C. Karren, managing partner of Karren Hendrix & Associates, a Salt Lake accounting firm, has been elected vice president.Other officers are Mary Kay Griffin, an officer/shareholder in the CPA firm of Foote, Passey, Griffin & Co., and Margaret Wickens, vice president of Tanner & Co., a Salt Lake CPA firm, is the treasurer.
Directors are William F. Edwards, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Questar Corp.; Milton H. Thackeray, audit partner for the national firm of KPMG Peat Marwick; David H. Luthy, professor of accounting at Utah State University; and Robert M. Mathis, a partner in the national firm of Price Waterhouse.
