The Nebo School Board has announced it has filled two positions in the Nebo School District offices vacated by the retirement of two administrators next month.
Dean Allan, director of secondary education, will retire July 1 after 33 years of service. Allan taught mathematics in the district for 12 years after teaching in Provo School District for three years. He served as counselor and principal of Springville Junior High School. He was appointed director of secondary education in 1985.Stanley Cammack will retire as pupil personnel coordinator after 23 years in Nebo School District. Cammack taught in Idaho before coming to Utah.
Larry Kimball will leave his position as secondary curriculum coordinator and take over as director of secondary education. Springville Junior High School principal Phil Bird will take over as secondary curriculum coordinator, and Payson Middle School principal Tom Hudson will serve as pupil personnel coordinator.
The board is expected to announce June 13 six new administrators to fill positions that came about because of the district's recent retirements and promotions. The board will fill principal positions at Springville High School, Payson Middle School and Springville Junior High School, and will name an assistant principal and administrative assistant at Spanish Fork Intermediate School.
Also the district's executive secretary, Bernice Bradford, will retire July 1. Bradford has served as a secretary in the district offices for 18 years, 10 with Superintendent J. Wayne Nelson and eight years with Errol Smith, finance director.
