Two Springville High School science students have been invited to attend high school science honor camps. Jackie Sue Perry and Matt Leigh were selected after winning awards at the 1990 Utah Science Talent Search competition.

Perry presented a paper titled, "Local retinal regions control local eye growth and myopia in chickens." Leigh's paper was titled, "Analysis of a triple substrate of an oscillating reaction."Perry will attend a three-week national youth science camp in Charleston, W.Va., and Leigh will travel to California to attend the Lawrence National Laboratory Science Camp in Livermore. Seven Utah students were honored with the all-expenses-paid trips.
