Wayne L "Huck" Durrant, 65, died June 5, 1990.

Born November 23, 1924 in American Fork, Utah to Clyde and Grace Losee Durrant. He married Leola Bateman October 29, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated with a B.S. Degree from BYU. Was a Cost Accountant at Geneva Steel for 36 years. Active in the LDS Church currently serving as Assistant Stake Clerk. Active in the Lions Club for 30 years on the local, State, and District level. Treasurer on the Steel Days Committee. Veteran of World War II. He was a devoted family man and loved the outdoors.

Survived by his wife of American Fork; Mrs. Neil (Shauna) Thomas; Barry and Shauna Pedersen Durrant, all of American Fork; daughter-in-law, Darlene Gurney Durrant of Lehi; eight grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Glen L. Durrant and Mabel Hansen both of American Fork; Carol Christensen of Orem; father-in-law, Earl P. Bateman of West Jordan. Preceded in death by a son Bryan and a brother Dale. Funeral Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the American Fork 18th Ward, 381 South 300 East. Friends may call at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Thursday 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday at the Church one hour prior to services. Burial in the American Fork City Cemetery.
