Dominic Oliveto, age 69, died June 5, 1990 in a Price hospital.

Born May 29, 1921, Price, Utah, son of William (Biajio) and Isabelle Barberio Oliveto. Married Ileene Sargent, June 30, 1947, Price, Utah. Member of the Catholic Church. Graduated Carbon High School, 1939, attended Carbon College, Utah State University. Served U.S. Army Air Corp., World War II. Life member Price Elks Lodge No. 1550, Price American Legion Post No. 3. With his wife, Ileene, owned and operated Milky Way Shoppe near college since 1947. A refrigerator repairman for Southeastern Utah. He will be long remembered by the youth of the Carbon-Emery area for his ice cream truck delivery of their favorite choices to their homes.

Survived by wife, Ileene; one son, two daughters and spouses, Dominic William and Debbie Kay Oliveto, Annette O. Oakey, Phyllis and husband, David Cox, two sisters, one brother, Catherine Pero, Sally Oliveto, Ross Oliveto; 10 grandchildren, Janeyl, Janett Oakey Lancaster and her husband, Randall, Phillip Scott, Mathew, Cassie Lynn and Marion Ross Oliveto, Ryan Allen, Amanda, Aaron Nathaniel, and David Albert Cox, all Price. Preceded in death by parents, sister, Anne Kaye, brother, Sam and grandson, Dominic William Oliveto, Jr.

Funeral Mass Thursday, 10 a.m., Notre Dame de Lordes Catholic Church, Price. Vigil service Wednesday evening Mitchell Chapel, 6 p.m. where friends may call Wednesday and Thursday prior to service. Committal Service: Price City Cemetery.
