The Department of Housing and Urban Development is beginning a new intern program to recruit and train qualified college students.

The program will fill 42 positions this year, and the positions will prepare interns for a two-year apprenticeship and a HUD career. All participants will have classroom and on-the-job training, as well as assignments in HUD headquarters in Washington D.C. and in at least one field office.Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
