DEATH: VERENA BUCKMILLER WHITE

Verena Buckmiller Keyes VanBuren White, age 99, died June 5, 1990 in Bountiful.

Born April 3, 1891, Providence, Utah, to Emil J. and Alice Grimm Buckmiller. Married Willard Harrison Keyes, October 9, 1912, in the Logan LDS Temple. He died February 6, 1920. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Vernon Harrison, Kathryn and Caroline. Married Chester G. VanBuren, June 1925, in Chicago, Illinois. He died December 16, 1928. Married Anthony "Tony" white, May 24, 1963. He died May 16, 1974. The years with Tony were the happiest and longest marriage of her life. She was a talented artist and many people have been recipients of her lovely oil and water color paintings. She was active throughout her life in the LDS Church, serving as Relief Society President, chorister, visiting teacher, Primary teacher, and dedicated stake missionary. She was especially proud of her donation to the Jordan River Temple.

Survivors: son, Vernon Keyes; daughter, Kathryn Jackman; eight grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; brothers, LeRoy J. and Carl H. Buckmiller; step-children, Ruth Keller, Elaine Page, Naomi Wright.

A special thanks and appreciation are extended to the staff at Care West Bountiful, for their faithful care over many months.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, 12 Noon, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Friday, 7-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment: Brigham City Cemetery.
