TRAIN AS BASEBALL PITCHER TO IMPROVE TENNIS STROKE

To protect your shoulder from tennis injuries, train like a baseball pitcher, says the Reebok Aerobic Information Bureau.

It says researchers at the Kerlan Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Inglewood, Calif., studied the biomechanics of the tennis stroke and found it to be remarkably similar to an overhand throw.While few shoulder-strengthening programs have been developed specifically for tennis players, the researchers concluded that the sophisticated programs developed for pitchers can also help improve your tennis game.
