Although Squeeze will be opening for Fleetwood Mac during most of its summer 1990 tour, the British pop band will be headlining a Salt Lake concert Tuesday night, June 12, at the Palladium, 1221 E. Simpson Ave.
The audience can expect Squeeze to concentrate on its classic hits (such as "Tempted," "Cool for Cats," "Hourglass"), 14 of which have been released this year on A Round and A Bout. The live album was recorded in January during a U.K. tour.Tickets are $12.50 in advance at Soundoff, Graywhale CD (in Ogden, Salt Lake City and Provo), the Salt Palace, Stargazer, Smokey's Records and at the door for $15. The concert begins at 9 p.m. The Gamma Rays, a local modern/'60s dance band, will open for Squeeze.
