David Kyle Houtz, age 23, died June 29, 1990 in a work-related accident in Sandy, Utah.
Born October 18, 1966 in Murray, son of Vince R. and Joan G. Houtz. Married Leslie Scovil July 16, 1988 in Taylorsville. Member LDS church. Enjoyed motorcycle riding, working hard, and serving others.

Survived by wife, Leslie, Salt Lake City; father, Vince R. Houtz, Taylorsville; three brothers and two sisters, Michael, Phoenix, Ariz.; Craig, Fort collins, Colo.; Julie, Jolene, Brad, all Taylorsville; several nieces and nephews; Stephen and Linda Scovil, Julie and Carolyn, all West Jordan; grandparents, Derral and Marge Scovil, Salina; thier dog, Kodey. Preceded in death by his mother, Joan.
Funeral services Tuesday, 12 noon, Taylorsville Ward Chapel, 1399 West 4800 south. Friends may call Monday, 6-8 p.m., at McDougal Golden Rule Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood road, and Tuesday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
