SHARE EFFECTIVE TECHNOLOGY IS TOPIC OF MEETING THURSDAY AT USU

Effective technology development is the subject of the fourth in a series of economic development meetings to be held Thursday, July 12, at 9 a.m. in the Spectrum at Utah State University.

M. Kirk Green, co-director of the Utah Division of Business and Economic Development, said the hearings are being held to update the Governor's Blueprint for Utah's Economic Future. After the speakers are finished, the public will have a chance to speak.Some of the speakers will be Rex Spendlove, president of Hyclone Labs; Richard Turley, Utah Technology Finance Corp. executive director; Paul Slack, vice president of IOMEGA Corp.; and Jan Crispin-Little, University of Utah Bureau of Economic and Business Research.

Others are Ken Holmgren, president of Morton International; Ben Cox, director of advanced technology for Unisys; John Price, president of The Price Cos.; and Bartell Jensen, vice president of research at USU.
