Hazel Arzella Udy Miller, 91, passed away Monday, July 9, 1990 at Humana Hospital Davis North in Layton.

Born Feb. 10, 1899 in Connor Creek, by Elba, Idaho, a daughter of Joseph and Annetta Smith Udy. She married Arthur "Art" Daniel Miller July 14, 1920 in Salt Lake City; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was reared and educated in Connor Creek and Burley, Idaho. She attended high school in Burley, also attended Boise Business College. She had lived in Farmington the past 70 years. She and her husband had wintered in Phoenix, Arizona the past 19 years. She was a member of the Farmington 1st LDS Ward and had served as a Mutual leader and Primary teacher. She was community and civic minded. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker; choice aunt, daughter, sister, neighbor, friend and second monther to many. She enjoyed gardening and flowers and loved people and life, living it to its fullest.Surviving are her husband of 70 years, Arthur "Art" Daniel Miller, Farmington; She had no natural born children, but she was a second mother and blessed the lives of her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters, Arza Joseph Udy, Lot Smith Udy, Dale Udy, Harley Udy, Annetta Leesey, Maggie Elison, Iva Beecher, Marva Earl and Fontella Chaffin.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Farmington LDS Rock Chapel, 272 North Main Street. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Thursday, at the church, from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Farmington City Cemetery.
