If you live in south Weber or Davis counties, don't water your lawns or gardens on Wednesdays.

That's the plea 10 secondary-water companies are sending to their customers in hope of conserving rapidly depleting water supplies."We're having a tough time keeping the equalizing reservoirs full," said Ivan Flint, manager of the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District.

The 20 equalizing reservoirs, which feed the secondary water systems, are located along the benches in Davis and Weber counties and are fed by an aqueduct system connected to the major reservoirs.
