A Bountiful man remained in critical condition Friday in an Ogden hospital with injuries he received when his plane crashed Thursday morning.

Floyd Henry Duncan, 52, is being treated at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden. A spokesman said that although he remains critical, his condition has stabilized since Thursday.Floyd Leonard "Buddy" Hatley, 60, of Sunset, was killed during the crash. The 210 Cessna clipped a power line, hit a tree and then fell into the Ogden River near a waterfall. The plane took off about 7 a.m. from Ogden Airport and was headed for Dutch John, Daggett County.

Weber County sheriff's officials say they do not know for sure which man was piloting the plane and which was the passenger. Both were qualified pilots, but neither had filed a written flight plan for the day. The investigation has been turned over to Federal Aviation Administration officials.
