SHARE BIDS WANTED FOR 2 FIRE STATIONS

Two small south-central Utah communities will get new fire stations. Construction bids have been called for by town councils in Koosharem and in Lyman, Wayne County.

Bids will be accepted until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, in Lyman, when they will be opened and read at the LDS Ward Chapel, according to Ja Nell Peterson, town clerk. Plans and specifications are on file at 900 North and 400 West in Lyman. The project is being funded through a Community Development Block Grant.The Koosharem fire station will also be used for the town's ambulance. Bids will be received at the town hall until 4 p.m. Thursday, July 26, and will be opened at that time. Contract documents and specifications may be obtained at RB&G Engineering Inc., 1435 W. 820 North in Provo.
