A World War II vintage British Supermarine Spitfire, piloted by Bill Greenwood of Aspen, Colo., flies past the Statue of Liberty in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Pilots and vintage aircraft will gather in New York on Monday to commemorate the battle, in which the Spitfires repelled the Nazi's Luftwaffe and stopped Germany's planned invasion across the English Channel.
