The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Posse helps officially open the Days of '47 celebration during the All Horse Parade Tuesday evening. Thousands of people lined downtown streets to see the more than 1,200 entrants, which included members of riding clubs, posses and costumed groups as well as horse- and pony-drawn wagons. The parade, which is in its 29th year, is the largest all-horse parade in the nation, and entrants competed for more than $2,000 in prize money and trophies.
