SHARE BANGERTER TAPS BROKER FOR POST ON REAL ESTATE BOARD

Dan Simons Jr. has been nominated to the Utah Real Estate Commission by Gov. Norm Bangerter. If confirmed by the Utah Senate, he will replace Marvin Hendrickson, whose term expired in June.

Simons was the director of management and leasing for Equitable Real Estate and recently made a change in employment to become a partner and principal broker with REMA Inc., a real estate management and brokerage company in Salt Lake City.He is the immediate past president of the local chapters of the Building Owners and Managers Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management and is a regional vice president for BOMA International. He has served on the national board of governors for IREM and BOMA and on various committees for both groups. He is also on the board of directors of BOMA International.

Simons is a designated certified property manager and real property administrator and was a member of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club.
