San Christopher, the associate director of Burch Mann's American Folk Ballet, is the speaker for today's Southern Utah State College Summer Lecture Series; her topic is "The American Folk Ballet in the Soviet Union."

The program is free to the public and starts at 11:30 a.m. in the Thorley Recital Hall. Christopher will talk about the reactions of the Soviet people to the American Folk Ballet's dance style and about the reactions of the dancers to their Soviet audiences.Christopher, an artist-in-residence at SUSC, is the associate choreographer for the American Folk Ballet. She is also a dancer and actress, having appeared in feature films, television and theatre.
