Ida Naujoks, age 91, our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully July 17, 1990 at home in Salt Lake City, Utah of causes incident to age.
Born September 22, 1898 in Tilsit, Germany to Friedrich Wilhelm Loeper and Johanne Auguste Heybeck. Married Artur Oskar Naujoks in Pogegen-Tilsit, Germany and later solemnized in the Swiss LDS Temple. With her family, she joined the LDS Church in 1928 and worked in the Relief Society where she was well known for her efforts in assisting the missionaries. She and her husband came to Salt Lake City in February 1973, where her husband passed away May 3, 1976. Member of the German-Speaking LDS Ward.Survived by one son, Arthur Oskar Naujoks, Jr.; two daughters, Waltruat Erika Wiechert of Berlin, Germany; and Elly Otto; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services on Saturday, July 21st, at 12 noon, Larkin Mortuary Chapel, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
