Katrina McClain scored 23 points and Teresa Edwards had 17 Sunday as the U.S. Women's team beat Yugoslavia 88-78 to take its second consecutive - and fifth overall - world basketball championship.

In a repeat of the Seoul Olympics final, which the U.S. team won 77-70, the Americans used running offense and sharp passing to turn back the Yugoslavians.
