Jim Martinson smashed the course record to win the wheelchair division of the Deseret News-KSL Radio Marathon Tuesday morning.

Martinson was clocked in 1:41:23, breaking the course record by about 20 minutes. Jim Peterson, the former record holder, and Brandon Harris also broke the course record to finish second and third, respectively, with times of 1:52:45 and 1:54:33.In the 10K race, defending champion John Brewer won the men's wheelchair race with a time of 22:27, beating Rondo Poole by 43 seconds. Angie Hendrix won the women's race in 25:38, with Sharon Frenette second in 27:10.
