West High School has received a $12,500 gift for technology/computer equipment from EIMCO Process Equipment Co. and Joseph Roseblatt. The gift was presented to Principal Harold Trussel.
"We are a close neighbor of West High School and we are interested in the teaching of computer skills and assisting in the business field," said Ray Aldrich, EIMCO president. He and Rosenblatt expressed a desire for an ongoing business/education partnership with the school.The award will be matched with technology funds allocated to the school through a technology initiative, said Olene S. Walker, Salt Lake Education Foundation director. The money will be used primarily for color monitors and graphics software to update and expand program possibilities.
