Sadako Matsuda Tanimine, 89, died Thursday, July 26, 1990 at a Bountiful hospital of causes incident to age.
She was born February 20, 1901 in Yamaguchi, Japan, daughter of Junichi and Kamayo Matsumoto Matsuda. She married Masaichi Tanimine on September 30, 1920 in Seattle, Washington. He died March 28, 1963. She was a member of the Japanese Buddhist Church.Survived by six daughters, Hannah Kaizumi and Bertha Kasai, both Salt Lake City; Mary Kobayashi, San Gabriel, Calif.; Alice Branton, Paso Robles, Calif.; Betty Roberts, Anaheim, Calif.; Hilda Nakaishi, Clearfield; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Kiyoko Ohata, Oregon House, Calif. Preceded in death by son, Jimmy Tanimine, who died May 2, 1985.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at the Rose Hills Church in Whittier, California. Local directors, Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
