SHARE DEATH: GWENDOLYN A. HIGGINSON

Gwendolyn Harris Alldredge Higginson, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away July 27, 1990, at home, of cancer.

Born November 30, 1915, in Cardston, Alberta, Canada. She was the daughter of Maudell Woolsey and J. Emer Harris. Moved to Boise, Idaho at age 4, attended Boise schools and the Brigham Young University. Active in the LDS Church serving many positions. Married Donald Alldredge on May 19, 1935, who preceded her in death on October 1, 1966. Married Elmo C. Higginson on September 1, 1967 and lived in Denver, Colorado, moving to Salt Lake City in 1971. He died in 1980.Survived by son, Donald E. Alldredge and his wife Tamara; granddaughters, Holly and Meredith, all of Phoenix, Arizona; daughter-in-law Kris Alldredge Chipman, of Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Bradford Kirk and Emily Alldredge. Preceded in death by a daughter Janet and a son Kirk. Also survived by sisters, Edna Done, Provo; Maureen H. Relyea, Salt Lake City and Josephine H. Frye, Escondido, California. Preceded in death by sisters, Harriett Wood and Wilma (Billie) Benson. Also survived by stepsons, George E., Jerry C. and Robert L. Higginson; step-daughter, Dianne Seckler, Alzina Warner and Julie Hancock; and 20 grandchildren.

Services will be conducted Monday July 30th, 12 Noon, at the Capitol Hill First Ward, 24 West 400 North, where friends may call two hours prior to services. Funeral directors, Larkin Mortuary. Bishop Lyman W. Condie, Officiating. Interment service will be conducted in Boise, Idaho on Tuesday, July 31st, at 3:00 p.m., at the Cloverdale Cemetery, under the direction of the Relyea Funeral Chapel.
