Business needs the ballet is the message the Ballet West Ambassadors are pushing as they kick off ticket sales for the 1990 Tribute to Business Sept. 13 in the Capitol Theatre.

This year's tribute will feature the season premiere of "Carmina Burana" as Ballet West and the ambassadors salute the business community for its support of the ballet. The tribute will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an outdoor reception at the Red Lion-American Towers Plaza, and at 7 p.m. in the theater the ambassadors will honor a company for its support of Ballet West. The ballet presentation will follow at 7:15 p.m.

Stephen Yeager, chairman of the ambassadors, said that for more than 25 years the ballet has been part of Utah's culture, which is an important part of the efforts to retain businesses in Utah and also attract business to the state from other states.
