Ina Foster Peterson died in Sacramento, California on June 29, 1990.

Beloved wife and companion for 50 years of James M. Peterson, III of Richfield, Utah; loving mother of James M. Peterson IV, Barbara Jean Beers and Robin Lynne. Adored mother-in-law of Shirley Gonzales-Peterson and Robert Andrea Beers II. Loving Grandmother of Jamie Jeane, James M. Peterson V (J.J.), Jena Marie, Jeffery Thomas, Jon Michael, R.A.B. III (deceased), Benjamin Lloyd, Bradley Martin, Brandon Michael, and Bryan Scott. Loving sister of Lowell Foster of Salt Lake City, Utah. Loving sister-in-law of Madge, Una, Juana, Lea, Mary Dean, Chaunce, Bobette, and Francis. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and admired by brothers and sisters in the LDS Church.A dedicated golfer and bridge player for over 40 years. An influential friend of the youth in writing, producing and directing dramas, musicals and dance festivals, and a compassionate friend to all.

Born in Preston, Idaho; resident of Sacramento, California for 21 years. At her request, no services were held.

Private interment attended by the immediate James M. Peterson III and IV families on June 30, 1990 at Richfield, Utah cemetery.
