Zina Garrison joined with Rick Leach to win Sunday's mixed doubles title, gaining some consolation for her loss 24 hours earlier to Martina Navratilova in the Wimbledon women's singles final. The American duo of Garrison and Leach defeated Australians John Fitzgerald and Liz Smylie 7-5, 6-2.

Tom Gullikson beat twin brother Tim 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 to retain the men's over-35 singles championship. The Gulliksons then joined forces in the men's over-35 doubles, but lost to Australians Peter McNamara and Paul McNamee 6-7 (2-7), 7-6 (7-2), 13-11.Andrea Strnadova of Czechoslovakia retained the girls' singles title, defeating Kirrily Sharpe of Australia 6-2, 6-4, and India's Leander Paes took the boys' singles championship with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 victory over South African Marcos Ondruska.
