A Dearborn, Mich., woman was ticketed because one of her neighbors was offended by her bright, lime-green porch - but now she can keep her choice of paint because both the neighbor and the city have backed off.
"The green porch stays green - I feel terrific," said Judith Lubeski.A city inspector ticketed Lubeski, 47, in May after receiving a complaint from a neighbor who took offense at the shade of green highlighting the otherwise white colonial-style house.
But now the resident is unwilling to testify in court, which means Lubeski cannot be charged with a misdmeanor, city spokesman Doyne Jackson said.
