Monica Lee Offutt Bybee, 39, of Nibley, Utah died Sunday, August 19, 1990, near Elko, Nevada.

She was born March 15, 1951 in Hemet, California, a daughter of John Leathers Jr. and Dorothy Nelson Offutt. She married Mark A. Bybee, June 7, 1974 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple. Graduated from Perris, California High School in 1969. She was a registered nurse, Profit Sharing Direct and a graduate of the Riverside City College School of Nursing. Member of the LDS Church, having served as Relief Society president and Primary president.A cherished wife and mother. Adored by her surviving husband, Mark; five loving daughters, Micah, Kimberley, Laura, Amy and Angela, all of Nibley; two devoted sisters, Martha Neglay, Albany, Oregon; Leslie Offutt White, Poughkeepsie, New York. Preceded in death by her parents.

Monica was loved by all as she spread joy to those who knew her. She was a "focused" dreamer, who would never settle for being just average, but was always striving to achieve while helping others fulfill their potential. She will forever be remembered by those who love her as a giver, a server, a teacher, a true friend and above all, an inspiring "winner". We will love her always.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 1990, 1 p.m., in the Hyrum North Stake Center, 245 North 650 East, with Bishop Dennis Cook conducting. Friends may call Tuesday evening, from 7-9 p.m. at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan, and Wednesday at the stake center, 11:30-12:30 p.m. Burial in the Logan City Cemetery.
