Charles Elden Casper 81 died Monday August 20, 1990, following a lengthy illness.

He was born November 21, 1908 in Charleston, Utah to Philip Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Carlen Casper. Married Elsie Wagstaff, May 5, 1931, in Heber City. His early life was spent in Charleston and Tabiona, Utah. He lived his adult life in Daniels, where he owned and operated a farm. He was a miner for 35 years. He enjoyed many hours outdoors, especially camping and fishing with family members and friends. Member of the LDS Church.He is survived by a devoted wife, Elsie, Daniels, Utah; four children, Mrs. Tony (Marion) Isi, Sandy; Mrs. Clyde (Connie) Montgomery, Heber City; Mrs. Boyden (Elda) Grooms, Kearns and Darwin and Launa Casper, Daniels; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Preceeded in death by brother, Wm. Glen Casper, sister, Delores McDonald Johnson, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services Thursday, August 23, 1990, 11 a.m. at the Millroad Ward (2395 South Millroad, Heber, Utah. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary Wednesday, August 22nd, 7-9 P.M. and Thursday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial Heber City Cemetery.
