Sheldon E. Lee, 23-year resident of Escondido, California, died August 18, 1990 at his home. He was 77.
Born June 27, 1913 and raised on a farm in Woolford, Alberta, Canada. He was the youngest of 16 children.Survived by wife, Barbara Brewerton Lee and six children, Dixie Haslip, Bountiful, Utah; G. Stewart Lee, Tujunga, California; Patricia Hadley, Layton, Utah; Carolyn Allen, Woodbridge, Virginia; Susan Christensen, Bedford, New Hampshire; and Robert S. Lee, Bountiful, Utah; also survived by 19 grandchildren.
He was an active member and leader of the Escondido 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a successful businessman in real estate, mining and milling. He lived and worked in Utah, Nevada and Hawaii. He will be greatly missed by his family members and many friends.
Services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., Bountiful 34th Ward Chapel, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial: Lakeview Memorial Estates.
