Our beloved wife and mother, loving daughter, and friend Martha Hirst Jenkins, age 30, passed away August 19, 1990 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born April 29, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James Warren and Eve Weller Hirst. Married Ralph Michael Jenkins, May 26, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Active member of the LDS Church Valley Park Fifth Ward.Martha is survived by her husband Ralph; three daughters, Erica age 11, Jessica age 7, Charlene age 6, all of Taylorsville; mother, Eve Hirst, Salt Lake; mother and father-in-law, Boyd and Colleen Erickson, Salt Lake; father -in-law, Wayne Jenkins, Alaska; grandmother, Hazel Green, Highland; one sister and five brothers, Kristine Jenkins, Paul, Joseph, Daniel, James, and John Hirst. Preceded in death by her father James W. Hirst.
Funeral services will be held Thursday August 23, 1990 at 12:00 noon at the Rosecrest 2nd Ward Chapel, 3101 South 2300 East, with Bishop Dale Cherrington of the Valley Park Fifth Ward officiating. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until 20 minutes prior to services. Interment: Elysian Burial Gardens. Directing: Holbrook Funeral Chapel.
