Parley Albert Peterson, 73, died at his home August 19, 1990.
Born February 11, 1917 in Grantsville, Utah, to Lenus and Olivia Johnson Peterson. Married Beatrice Knowlden, February 22, 1942 in Tooele. Marriage solemnized in the Logan Temple in 1962. Served in the Army, in the Medical Corp., in World War II in Italy, France and Africa. A life-long resident of Grantsville. A lifetime member of the VFW. A rockhound and he loved farming.Survived by wife, three sons, Gayle, South Jordan; George, Pataskala, Ohio; Noland, Sandy; daughter, Irene Morse, West Valley City; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Brent, Wesley and Joe and a sister, Vaunita Gollaher, all of Grantsville; preceded in death by a daughter, Joy and a brother, Arch.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 22, 11 a.m. at the Grantsville West Stake Center, 115 East Cherry St., where friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 prior to the funeral service. Burial: Grantsville City Cemetery.
