The seventh in a series of hearings on economic development will be Thursday, Aug. 23, at 9 a.m. in Room 137 of the Technical and Economic Development Center of Snow College's west campus in Ephraim with Lt. Gov. W. Val Oveson providing a welcome.

Speaking will be Snow College President Jerry Day; Fred S. Ball, president of the Salt Lake Area Chamber of Commerce; David Nimkin, Utah Small Business Development Center executive director; Jack Marks, a consultant for AMS Business Machines; Dixie Barksdale, economic development specialist for the Southeastern Association of Governments; and William O'Hara, senior vice president for Discover Card.Following the speeches, the public will have a chance to speak.
