Leonard Bernstein's recurring respiratory problems have forced him to cancel the Tanglewood Music Center orchestra's six-city European tour scheduled for this summer. The tour, marking the orchestra's 50th anniversary, was to have started Wednesday and would have taken Bernstein, 72, to West Germany, East Berlin, Vienna and Spain. It would have been the first time the Tanglewood orchestra had performed anywhere outside its home in rural northwest Massachusetts.
