"The Continuing Growth of Biological Psychiatry" will be addressed by Dr. Paul H. Wender at a workshop to update pharmacists, nurses and other mental health professionals on new developments and trends in medications to treat mental disorders.
The conference is scheduled Friday, Sept. 14, from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., in room 212 of the U. College of Nursing.The colleges of nursing and pharmacy are program sponsors. Wender is director of psychiatric research in the department of psychiatry at the U. Medical School.
The $65 registration fee includes lunch, continuing education units for professionals and parking permits upon request. Students may register for $25 with proof of student status. For more information, call 581-8755.
