Jim Buffmire, age 36, died August 21, 1990 at home.
He was born in Bishop, California on December 21, 1954. Jim served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Navy Reserves and was employed as an air conditioning equipment mechanic at the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Salt Lake.He is survived by two daughters, Kelly, age 13, Albequerque, New Mexico; Staci, age 6, Salt Lake City; father, Wallace R. Buffmire and stepmother, Louise Buffmire of Newhall, California; mother, M. Frances Buffmire, Salt Lake City; brothers, Andrew W. Buffmire, Salt Lake City; David Buffmire, Reno, Nevada; uncle, LaMar L. and Aunt Judy Ann Buffmire, Salt Lake City; Aunt LaVon Cochran, San Pedro, California; Aunt Rose Soon, Maui, Hawaii; numerous neices, nephews and cousins.
Jim loved the mountains and the desert and spent many of his happiest hours there. He will be greatly missed by the many who knew and loved him.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 24, 1990 at 12 noon, First Presbyterian Church, South Temple and "C" Street, Salt Lake City, Utah.
