A new Miss Sanpete and her attendants will be in the spotlight at the Sanpete County Fair Friday and Saturday.
The royal quintet will be introduced to the rodeo audience at the arena Friday and Saturday nights and ride the Sanpete County float in the parade down Main Street Saturday at 6 p.m.The judges named Suzanne Christensen, a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Jan Christensen, Gunnison, the new Miss Sanpete at the Miss Sanpete Scholarship Pageant in the North Sanpete High School auditorium. A freshman at Brigham Young University, Christensen she played a piano solo, "Mephisto Waltz," for her talent number.
First attendant is Heidi Keisel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tim Keisel, Moroni; second attendant, Suzy Frischknecht, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Frischknecht, Manti.
Third attendant is Jeanne Davis, a daughter of Mrs. Jeanine Davis, Manti, and Kent Davis, St. George; and fourth attendant Sarah Lynn Ramsey, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Ramsey, Fairview.
