INCA, a Peruvian ensemble featuring colorful costumes and rare instruments, will bring traditional and ancient music forms from Peru to life at Dixie College's Obert C. Tanner Amphitheater in Springdale on Saturday, Sept. 1, at 7:30 p.m.

From Peru's mountains, jungles and seacoasts come ritual songs of the Incas, melodies created by the Peruvian people after the Spanish conquest, and songs reflecting the African roots of black communities of coastal Peru.Tickets at $6, $4 children, are on sale at Ben Franklin and R&K Books in St. George; Heritage Variety in Hurricane; Munson's Music World in Cedar City, and Bumbleberry Inn and Flanigan's Inn in Springdale. Following the concert, the Grand Circle multi-media production will be shown free to those attending the INCA concert.
