After a valiant battle the great spirit of Donn `R' Amott was finally released on Aug. 24, 1990 into the loving arms of family and friends who have previously crossed the veil. Having, as Job of old, endured his trials well, his Savior can now say, `Well done thou good and faithful servant.'

Born Nov. 23, 1926 to Charles R. and Edith L. E. Amott. Married Barbara Brewster June 14, 1960 in the Salt Lake Temple. Active member of the L.D.S. Church fulfilling a Mexican mission 1951-53. Veteran U.S. Army.Those surviving privileged to call him husband, father, grandpa, mawpa, and brother are: Wife, Barbara; Children, Steven D. (Camille), Jeffrey R. (Nina), Elizabeth (William) Betenson, Kelly B. (Lisa), C. Russell, and Kent F. Amott. Brother, Richard W. Amott and sister, Darlene Amott. Five grandchildren.

Funeral services to be held Tuesday Aug. 28, 1990 at 12 noon at the Monument Park Fifth Ward, 1930 South 2100 East. Friends may call Monday at Larkin Sunset Lawn from 6-8 p.m., and Tuesday at the ward from 10:30-11:30 a.m.. Interment Larkin Sunset Lawn. Donations to the American Cancer Society.
