Spencer Snow, former president of the staffs at LDS Hospital and Primary Children's Medical Center, died Aug. 22, 1990, at the age of 88.

Dr. Snow practiced pediatrics in Salt Lake City from 1938 to 1978. During his 40-year career, Snow also served as a president of the Intermountain Pediatric Society and as the Utah chairman of the American Academy of Pediatrics.During the Eisenhower administration, Snow worked with the White House Conference on Children.

Services will be held Monday, Aug. 27, at noon in the Monument Park 12th Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2795 East Crestview Drive. Friends may call at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300 South, Sunday between 6 and 8 p.m. and at the ward Monday one hour before the services.

Snow will be buried in the Brigham City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Primary Children's Medical Center or a charity of choice.
