Police are searching for a man, probably in his late 20s, who held up a bank Friday afternoon.

According to Provo police, a man with light brown hair and wearing round, silver-mirrored sunglasses, entered West One Bank, 206 N. University Ave., between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Friday,He pointed a handgun at a clerk and asked for money. The clerk gave him an unspecified amount of money. He fled on foot and apparently acted alone, police said Saturday.

The suspect is described as being about six feet tall, wearing a striped shirt, dark bermuda shorts and a brown floppy hat.
